This is a clip from nin’s show in Sydney, where he, in so many words, tells the audience to start stealing his music because CD prices are so high. Gutsy.

And that’s why I’d go gay for that man…*

*Not really… but he’s still fucking awesome.

There’s a part of me that feels like he’s being irresponsible — but he’s trying to fight for his fans. There’s something really cool about that.

I didn’t catch that, one iota. Music will never die, music will always make money, and that realization is the leverage he and everyone else at his status-level have, but he’s one who is willing to admit it. Irresponsible to his record label, from one perspective, sure, but from another perspective, the label is the irresponsible one.

Oh yeah, as I’ve stated previously, I love the fuck outta The Fragile, but that was an awful sounding “The Day The World Went Away” up until Trent started singing. Then it sounded alright.

Eh, not a fan of The Day. It’s just too blah for my taste. Then there’s “We’re In This Together” and I don’t like that one, either. I like it more when he gets outside of the normal stuff.

Anyway, it just kinda seems weird to have someone who has fought against piracy to say that. Maybe he just realizes that really, high CD prices get the most out of the people that he really cares about, i.e., the people that actually buy them. I don’t know — it’s cool, anyway.

Ah, there’s the key that I was never aware of.

I like when the part when the “Na-na-na’s” kick in. Until that part, I say it’s blah as well. We’re In This Together, despite it being the single that I remember seeing the video for, and my automatic turned-off-mode that the ‘album hits’ bring, I like that song still. Actually I love love love the song “Just Like You Imagined”, but now it’s exploited thanks to that fucking movie 300. I still haven’t seen it, and when I finally do, I don’t know if I’ll cum over it like everyone seems to have done.

“Just Like You Imagined” doesn’t factor into the movie at all. For the longest time, you could bet that if that song was on my iPod I’d be driving a minimum of 15 mph faster than normal.

Sweet. I always see that song with the stupid slow motion sword throw part. That must have just been in the trailers. I was pissed when I heard that originally. I was like, “I..I know that song.. Wait, I LOVE that song. Fuck them for loving it enough to taint it in a movie!”
