Who all caught the 2-hour Knight Rider movie? Personally, I want one of those Mustangs. As for the show, I think it could have the makings of something interesting. Guess we’ll have to see.
I only saw about 40 minutes of the last half… the car looks pretty cool. I’m worried about all of the “morphing” stuff. The show might end up having a bit of interesting stuff, but I really worry about it’s quality. There appeared to be way too many tie-ins to the first show that were put there in an attempt to support this one, rather than make it interesting. To me, that means that they already recognize that this show may not able to really stand on it’s own… I’m not optimistic, but I still plan to try to watch the 2-hour movie if I get the chance.
BTW: With the car’s “healing” abilities and the morphing, I’m really worried we are going to get goofy 80’s TV “Knight Rider” crossed with “Viper” from the 90’s… and that will be a turd no matter how hard they try to make it cooler.
In the beginning, as the bad guys were in the garage, you do see some parts of the old KITT, especially the stirring wheel. Of course, being the Mustang guy, love it. And I agree with Bryan with “viper-ish” morphing but KITT looks great. Of course THE HOFF in it was cool and “One Man Can Make Difference” speech got my juices flowin’ and happy. The story wasn’t that bad either, neat to find out about Mike Jr.
