There are currently only three registered 1300s operating in the Southern Pacific. One privateer makes runs between the Pacific Islands and Asia with loads of spices, coconuts and Opisthobranchia sea slugs. Another is the standby emergency medical ship for the Rarotongan Sperm Whale And Giant Squid Fight Watching Society. The third is my own ship, Wilma, currently under repairs and refit at the Onehunga Royal Shipyards.
There are, however, thought to be as many as a dozen unregistered 1300s operating illegally between Indonesia, The Phillipines the outlying Hawaiian islands and The Pacific Islands, all the way to Chile and Peru. They run blackmarket goods and weaponry, droids, drugs and slave labour as well as anyone desperate enough to place their lives in the hands of unscrupulous men in order to remain under the radar.
