I thought it was just a tad less exciting than the Da Vinci Code. It seems to have a lot more emphasis on the religious side of the whole thing. Time also didn’t seem to flow very well. It seemed like they wanted to run in real time. They were killing someone every hour, but usually about 40-45 minutes of that hour were missing.
Person 1 would die at the top of the hour, ok clues to the next one. And its suddenly it is 10 minutes to the next death. What it took 50 minutes to drive in the dark from one church in town to the next? Just didn’t seem to flow as well as it could.
All in all I think it was worth the $9, worth a rent at least.
I’m a fan of both Howard and Hanks but this doesn’t sound like my idea of a good time at all unfortunately Newman. I’ll save my $15 (yep, out here on the edge of civilization we use Monopoly money) and spend it on seeing Star Trek again I think.
