I think I was reaching an age in Middle school where I was getting more into clothing, scale models and less into toys. I never really got into transformers for this reason. I never bought any or got any for gifts. Although I think I did get a Go-Bot for a gift. But I didn’t have much interest. I was more into electronics and getting into keyboards and music.
I do remember Bryan having many of these things. And we stole a kids gun transformer (what’s the name?) I also remember watching some of the cartoons with Bryan when we were young. I just didn’t get it. I did think is was cool that they transformed. But a story behind it was never anything to me.
More things passed me by but I did have an eye on it. Does anyone remember M.A.S.K.? And then there were garbage pail stickers, Muscle Men, and Micro Machines. By the time I was in high school, I just didn’t care about anything else that came out. In fact the more stuff that came out, the more I would think it was weird. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? WTF is that all about? Power Rangers? Or maybe I just grew up more and couldn’t realize how kids like stuff like that. But that’s just it…kids have an open imagination and aren’t as critical as adults.
Now I just buy some toys to collect and sell again, or I just think they’re cool.
So the nerdy part of me will collect Star Wars Droid Action Figures. I had collected 1997-2002. Then they were stolen out of my apartment. I began collecting again in 2004. But only droids. There are just too damn many now.
Now the kind of stuff Robby has, like that kick ass Darth Vader, that stuff rules. I still want a full size, fully operatable Astromech Droid.
I like titties.
