Extremely. In the days of information access, you are seeing these stories, but this was really bad in a post-Vietnam America. One of my neighbors is a vet, one that had a really bad case of PTSD… he was just telling me about this again yesterday, howe most of his friends from the war are dead… from suicide. He pointed out that while we are seeing this a lot today, the folks over there are seeing horrific things, but they still go back to tents, and back to some sort of a settlement. In earlier wars, soldiers were just on their on for months, or even years at a time. I definitely don’t mean to downplay with what’s going on with men and women over there now, it’s gotta fuck them up bad. I’m just saying in some cases it may have already been worse, and little to no responsibility has been taken for it. Unfortunately, I doubt that’s likely to change.
I know I couldn’t handle any of it most likely.
